National Day of Prayer and Fasting 26 Feb, 2022
26 Feb 2022 is the date for the National Day of Prayer and Fasting.
Tens of thousands of Christians across Australia will be meeting regionally together or on the national zoom call to pray for Australia. Our nation has been facing many challenges and it is strategic and timely for Christians to join together in prayer to lift up our great nation of Australia and pray for God’s will to be done in this land. The theme for the 2022 National Day of Prayer and Fasting is “Purity in Christ.” The scriptural theme is found in Psalms 51:10, “Create in me a pure heart O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” There is great power in unified prayer. Psalm 133 says, “When brethren dwell together in unity… there the Lord commands a blessing even life for evermore.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and heal their land.”
