MoreCentre for Public Christianity Easter 2017 podcast with COL Craig Bickell
"Sacrifice implies that there’s a cost. I think most, if not all, service men and women, and the families they’ve left behind, have experienced the idea of this service costing something - not being able to see their loved ones on a regular basis because they’re deployed, up to the point of sacrificing one’s life." Coming up on Life & Faith, a special Easter interview. Colonel Craig Bickell shares his thoughts on sacrifice and service, morale and resilience, and what Christian faith can offer the profession of arms.

PTSD - Stomp the Summit, Crush the Stigma
Using Mt Kosciuszko to resemble Mental Health Issues (PTSD, Depression etc) - “the mountain we need to overcome, that stands before us” Currently we have up to 300 ADF members who have taken their own lives since year 2000, who lost their battle with PTSD, depression. This trek is about remembering and honouring those 300 plus who have gone before us. Regardless of fitness, everyone will make it to the top and back, this is about relying on each other to climb the mountain that no one has to suffer alone - we depend on each other because we are a family. Date: Saturday 11 Mar 17
This event is being organised by CPL Summers member of the RAAF and an MCF member.
